CRUISING' GRAND ESCONDIDO

For the past 17 years, Cruisin' Grand has become the place to car cruise and people watch. This pre-1970s vintage car event occurs in the heart of Escondido through Grand Avenue from the corner of Escondido Blvd. all the way to Juniper Street.  

Starting in April and running to September, this event is always time well spent, there are many ways to enjoy the hot rods - stopping along one the many pubs or restaurants and then enjoy the walk while watching some homegrown live bands along the way.  After seeing so many beautifully restored classics, you’ll appreciate the time that is put into them.

I wish I could attend every year and every week, but life has responsibilities, especially on Friday nights.  However, when I do attend, I take the opportunity to capture images of a different style and hopefully unique.  I really enjoy the fact that there are both stationary and moving cars from which I get to experiment and produce some abstracts.
